Money Math Galore!

My students need this Money Math set because it will help them learn life skills of shopping for items in an advertisement and also figuring out how much money they need to purchase certain items.

My Students

My students all have multiple disabilities and range in cognitive ability of pre-school to 3rd grade. These students work well with projects and not just direct lecture instruction. I do my best to meet each students individual needs with learning.

My students love hands-on activities and learning through doing.

They will always be more interested in doing something than just reading about it. They love to explore and and see new things around them. My students have a love for learning and a love for each other.

My Project

The Money Math binders will make a difference in my students' learning by providing them with real-world opportunities to search advertisements for products, find the price and then figure out how much money they need to have to purchase all the items they found in the advertisement.

My students work well with hand-on and real-wild opportunities, these binders will give them both.

These binders have advertisements in them and worksheets for students to find items and record the price and then add prices together. The binders provide several different levels which would be beneficial in my classroom where the students abilities vary greatly.
