My Students

I have an amazing group of 15 Kindergartners who are eager to new tools in order to continue exploring foundational skills in English Language Arts and Math, which are extremely important in their future success at school.

When my students walk into my classroom, they are challenged and driven to succeed using any means possible.

Most of my students enter school with little to no background knowledge and it is my duty to catch them up to speed! In our classroom, we believe that we are showing the world our dreams are achievable.

My Project

My students will use the requested resources provided by Play-Doh for literacy and math centers. During Play-Doh center, my students are refining and developing fine motor skills, improving language and vocabulary skills, making observations about shape and size, and comprehend concepts of addition and subtraction.

The donation of Play-Doh materials will help my students achieve improved math and literacy skills while sharing and socializing using a common and familiar manipulative.

My students will form letters which will help them to learn letter names and sounds, and make numbers which will help them show quantities, form sets, and form 2D/3D shapes all by using Play-Doh.
