This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
With the expansion of sports this season to include modified teams there is a need to supply these teams with basic sporting equipment. This equipment, such as soccer balls and basketballs, will help these students develop the fundamental skills that they will need to excel in the field. Modified sports are an asset because they open up doors for more students to stay after school and participate in structured physical activities. These activities will help these students to foster leadership and teamwork skills that will carry over into the classroom and the real world. This new equipment will also help to increase enthusiasm among the students.
