My Students

My students are awesome. We have expectations at our school that school work should build into information that prepares them for the future. For example, students will create projects that they propose to local industries to help them improve.

As a school we're moving more and more towards projects that incorporate modern technology that could lead to jobs in the future.

The current donorschoose project would help them accomplish this even better.

My Project

Students would be able to create projects that involve more of their input. For example: currently we are learning about electric motors. Students could design their own wheels and put them on the cars to see which ones work the best.

In our unit about physics they could design parts that help with catapult design.

Biology students could print up a model of DNA strands so they could learn how to put them together and understand the process better. They could also learn about what happens when a mutation occurs.
