My Project
The SAA Modern Band is a school-based, contemporary/popular music ensemble that seeks to give students an active voice in developing their own music education. Our program is in its second year as a full-fledged Modern Band which meets as a scheduled class during the school day. While the Modern Band puts on three or four shows per year, our students are being equipped with the musical skills to continue making music for a lifetime!
As our Modern Band program grows, we need to add new instruments to our classroom so students will continue to grow in their musical pursuits! A new short-scale bass will provide an opportunity for many students to learn to play the bass. Picks, tuners, batteries, and other music supplies will help our students continue to thrive with the instruments we already have. We appreciate you making an investment in each student's musical future!
