Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
Models and replicas are instrumental in the implementation of science and health lessons. Images of organs and other anatomical structures in print media/textbooks and smartboard screens are helpful. However, three-dimensional models and replicas would enhance the lessons, facilitate comprehension, and spark curiosity in my students.
My students are motivated to explore the human anatomy, thus models and replicas will be a good experience to facilitate learning and reinforce the knowledge acquired from textbooks and related videos.
The models and replicas will promote hands-on activities in class during science and health lessons.
Participation in science and health lessons is key to building skills and vocabulary. Models and replicas will renew interest in lessons, improve attendance at school, and adequately prepare students to succeed in their various science careers.
