I have nineteen amazing third grade students who have an unbelievablely wide range of academic abilities. From reading to math, social studies to science they couldn't be more diverse in the skills they possess.
However, one thing they all have in common is that they are all hard working and have inquisitive minds that demand to be challenged.
Even at their young age my students have the drive and desire to be successful not only in school but in their everyday lives as well.
Wisconsin winters can be cold and harsh with monotonous inclement recesses. The students, and teachers, get bored with the same old game boards time after time. However, hands-on interactive materials increase social interaction during inclement recesses! My students love using the modeling dough during in-door recess and I love seeing them use it!
With modeling dough the students get to use their imaginations and practice their social skills all while having a blast!
Unfortunately, I have a very limited supply of dough and corresponding materials.
Please help boost the fun, positive, and imaginative interaction of my students during these cold Wisconsin inclement recesses!
