Help me give my students the ability to see chemistry, model together, and track our formative successes.

My Project
My students are visual thinkers, and with our new OpenSciEd curriculum, they are frequently asked to model, and to direct my hand as I draw consensus models of their group thinking! The need to continually erase whiteboards, the limited space on chart paper, and the struggle to see what I am doing are all barriers to our success.
With an iPad, my students will be able to model their thinking with the touch of a pen on a screen, and will be able to see my consensus models in real time, up close and personal on their devices, and can save the images for months to come.
Not only that, but the iPad will support us in classroom discussions where I am asked as the teacher to track student speaking and participation. With students' names on the iPad, I can simply walk around and tap their name to record participation, jot down notes about their participation, and take these notes home to determine student understanding and direction for the next lesson.
Finally, a school initiative is to film students discussing, learning, and figuring out problems together so that we can watch them as a staff. The iPad's camera will allow me to capture these moments with ease on a school device and will help with my professional development and growth as an educator for my students.
