My Project
I want my students to not only know the election is happening but to experience the process, as most of my 8th graders will be able to vote in the next election! It’s never too early to be a part of the democratic process! We will hold a school-wide vote, so the posters will help to instill the roles of each level of government. The chairs will provide a special electoral college vibe when the votes are counted, and the headphones will enable the kids to listen to interviews and podcasts that will serve as a basis for all class political discussions.
