My students need adjustable hydraulic stools to provide a flexible seating option that is sure to increase focus, mobility, and overall comfort in the science classroom setting.
I have the pleasure of teaching fifth grade departmentalized science in a middle school setting. My days are full of smiles, hugs, laughs, chaos, fun, and learning! My 110 students are inquisitive, unique, high-spirited, and eager to learn. Over half of my students come from low-income families and need many accommodations when it comes to learning. Each student learns in their own way in their own time, and I know that our science classroom is a place of inquiry, experimentation, and joy for both them and me!
I believe in being dedicated to every student, every day.
These preadolescents are in a tough transitional phase in their lives, but I know that I can be one of the vital people they need in their lives to provide support in their journey. Being a teacher is my passion, and I hope to give my students an educational experience they can grow from. My fifth grade kiddos deserve the world!
My Project
These materials will make a difference in my students' learning because they will provide a way for students to become mobile, increase their focus, and provide comfort. Flexible seating is an encouraging aspect in the classroom; students being able to choose where they will work is highly motivating!
My students will be able to use these stools to increase mobility and motivation while working at lab table/countertops where most of our experiments and inquiry work take place.
It is important my students feel comfortable and confident when exploring the realm of sciences, whether it is physical, life, earth, space, or beyond! Hydraulic stools (with the capability to adjust height) will be the perfect addition to my students' learning environment.
