My Project
In my 6th-grade English Language Arts (ELA) classroom, I strive to meet the needs of a diverse group of learners. Some students benefit from Tier 1 instruction in a small group setting for enrichment and focused practice, while others require Tier 2 intervention to bridge skill gaps. Many of my students are multilingual learners, and small group instruction allows me to tailor lessons to their unique needs.
To make this instruction seamless and efficient, I am requesting a rolling laptop cart, a desk organizer, and a storage drawer cart.
These tools will help me create a dynamic, organized environment where I can deliver personalized instruction to all learners.
My classroom is a hub of diversity, with students from different linguistic, cultural, and academic backgrounds. This diversity enriches our learning environment but also calls for differentiated instruction. Small group instruction is key to supporting:
Tier 1 students who benefit from enrichment and scaffolded learning opportunities.
Tier 2 students who need targeted interventions to strengthen foundational skills.
Multilingual learners who require tailored strategies to develop language proficiency alongside content mastery.
Having the right tools will allow me to transition smoothly between groups, deliver engaging lessons, and keep materials organized for each group’s needs.
