Mobile Presenters

Help me give my students more opportunities to share their thinking using modern devices. An ipad will allow my students the flexibility to be a mobile presenter.

My Project

My 5th grade students are very eager to learn and enjoy the opportunities to share their thinking with their peers. This project, "Mobile Presenters," will give my students the opportunity to present with flexibility instead of being stationary. This type of approach is very similar to the way people are giving speeches nowadays, where they are not just standing in one place.

These technological devices will allow my students to practice the 21st-century skill of being a mobile presenter.

The iPad will be used for students to hold and flip through their presentations. The iPad will give my students flexibility to engage with their peers while increasing or decreasing their proximity to the audience depending on their desire. I already have an Apple pencil from a previous project, so this will iPad mini will allow my students to annotate in real time.

This project is key to developing students with the durable skills needed to contribute locally and compete globally.
