Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are excited to begin the new school year. I have moved into a new classroom, and am excited to curate this space to maximize choice, voice, and flexibility. The room currently has one whiteboard and is in need of creative solutions to support investigation and learning.
Our math block combines number talks, teaching through problem-solving lessons, and spiral review through math learning stations.
This mobile whiteboard, storage bins, and math manipulatives will help us create a flexible space to discuss numbers, think through problems, and deepen our math knowledge. We are excited to utilize a space in the room that needs a creative solution so we can further our math learning.
