My Students

Do you remember having to sit in an assigned seat, and not be allowing to get up without permission? My students need to move to learn.

I have the privilege of teaching 25 wonderful students from a high poverty area.

My students are typical third graders that need to move and socialize, but also need resources to harbor their learning. My students are diverse, fun, and highly intelligent beings, with the help of donors I hope that their characteristics will be brought to the forefront.

My Project

Sitting in the same seat, same table, and same room all day is not the best way to keep children learning. Thus, I think and have seen the use of dry erase materials change this common problem. The use of dry erase materials allow students the option to be mobile around the room and even the school. We need dry erase boards, markers and erasers.

My goal is to keep students learning and growing, and to do so students must move and socialize.

This project will start this opportunity for them, that otherwise would not be available.
