My students need iPads (with protective cases) so that they will be able to learn a new operating system and be a mobile 21st century learner.

My Students

My students are living in a world with technology everywhere they go. When my students walk into the classroom, it is my job to teach them how to use several different types of technology so that they are prepared for whatever they might encounter.

I work at a very diverse school, with a growing population from all over the world.

At times, it is difficult to integrate technology because not all students have a device. Even there are times that the students would greatly benefit at being mobile while working. The students at my school are able to use chrome books, however, the chrome books are not mobile and only teach one interface. My goal is to teach more than one operating system in which the students can move around the classroom and the school!

The students in my classroom live at the cusp of the technology capital of the world. It is my job to provide them with relevant technology that prepares them for college and a career.

My Project

My students need iPads so that they can learn a new operating system in class and be able to be flexible throughout all walks of their lives. Not only will they be able to learn iOS, but my students will be able to be more mobile while working online and using classroom apps.

This project will allow for my students to be 21st century learners and college and career ready, but ultimately, these iPads will help students who come from a diverse background knowing little English use engaging apps to learn English and be ready to face any new technology encountered.

The apps available to my diverse student population will allow success in this forever changing world. Your donation can help keep my students on the cutting edge of technology while using many platforms and interfaces to express their learning and ideas.
