This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are just learning about letters and letters shapes. These materials will help my students to work independently on individual activities for letter formation and pre-writing activities bull giving them a space to work on self discovery. Hands-on activities have been shown to be beneficial for early language learners to create experiences that lead to long-term memory retention. By limiting group distractions with these mobile desks, students can build focus and attention. For many of my students, this is their first school experience. I am hoping to give them a wonderful first school year filled with experiences that make them love being at school and want to continue their own self directed learning! Thank you.
