Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have a group of STEAM Magnet Kindergarten students. One hour of my day is devoted to small group instruction. Engaging student learning through small group instruction is beneficial for so many reasons.
Running rotation centers gives my students more one on one interaction with me.
In doing so, I am able to easily differentiate my instruction to meet the needs of my students. Having a mobile teaching easel would give my students and I the luxury of bringing lessons to life by having manipulatives at arms reach, as well as having a white board to write on at student's eye level where they could easily touch, write and use magnetic manipulative tools to engage their learning.
