This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I absolutely love how curious and eager my students are to learn every day. They come into the classroom full of questions, ideas, and excitement, and it's my goal to nurture that energy and create a space where they feel supported, engaged, and inspired.

The mobile easel board will give us a flexible, accessible way to display lessons, anchor charts, and student work, especially during small group activities or when moving around the room for centers.

It helps turn any part of our classroom into an interactive learning space.

The ink and copy paper will allow me to provide hands-on materials, such as worksheets, visuals, and take-home activities, giving students additional practice and support tailored to their learning needs. These tools are essential for helping students make connections and reinforce their understanding.

Disinfectant wipes might seem simple, but they are key to keeping our classroom clean and healthy—especially during cold and flu season—so that students can focus on learning instead of germs.

Finally, the classroom calendar will help us build routine and structure. It’s a great tool for teaching days of the week, weather, counting, and even responsibility as students take turns leading calendar time.

Each of these items plays a role in creating a positive, engaging, and safe environment for learning—and I’m so excited for the difference they’ll make in our classroom.
