Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A mobile desk equipped with a wireless mouse and keyboard will allow me to move freely around the classroom during instruction, maintaining proximity to students while still controlling the instructional content displayed on the screen. This mobility will improve classroom management, increase engagement, and allow for real-time feedback as I circulate and assist students individually. By removing the barrier of being tethered to a single workstation, I can provide more interactive and responsive instruction.

My goal is to create a more dynamic and flexible learning environment where students remain engaged and focused.

The mobile desk setup will enable me to seamlessly transition between whole-class instruction, small group work, and one-on-one support without interrupting the flow of the lesson. Ultimately, this will help maximize instructional time, improve participation, and foster a more student-centered approach to learning.

My students are curious, creative, and full of potential. They come from diverse backgrounds and bring unique strengths, perspectives, and talents to our classroom community. Many of them thrive when given hands-on support and the opportunity to actively participate in lessons. They are eager to learn and respond positively to interactive teaching methods that make them feel seen, supported, and involved in their own learning process.
