My Students

Our school serves a highly diverse and high need student population.

Students in our school represent a uniquely diverse community representing a collection of global migrants displaced over a number of years to our community.

They have chosen our school to learn and grow. Now with the COVID-19 closures, their community has been disrupted and students are left without the technology to connect to the learning available to them from their amazing teachers.

Our families have chosen our school to find smaller class sizes, safe environment, social and emotional learning, and a higher-performing academic culture.

Our students often come to us working several grade levels below standard and our team works to bring them to grade level and beyond.

My Project

With so many students still learning from home I desire to stand and be mobile to assist my in person students as well as keep digital contact with my mobile students. This presentation cart allows me to use my computer, connect my projector and webcam to support all students in my classroom wherever they are.

I love to teach from my feet and provide the best experience for my mobile learners as possible.

I need them to feel connected to their peers and their learning community. I do this by teaching as active as I can while using digital tools to engage all students on their devices.
