My Project
With this project, my students will study the stories and characters brought to life in books by Mo Willems. First grade is a very crucial in getting students engaged in reading. Not only having students read a group of books from a certain genre, its also important for them to learn about the author as well.
Having students not only read certain genres of books, but understanding the author and how their style of writing in also important.
Learning about characters and how they are written together in books is fun and exciting for students to explore and make their love of books that more important to them.
