Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students attend a Title I school in a low economic area. Our classroom is filled with varying abilities and learning styles. 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. For some, those are the only meals they can rely on. Most families are blended families and some students only have one parent.
Despite the many challenges that they face, my students are always ready to learn and eager to try new things.
I strive to provide them with rich experiences because they are resilient learners that love school.
My Project
My students have struggles at home and it is my job to make sure they are able to accomplish what they wish in school. I would like to teach my students additional responsibilities such as caring for your environment. It is important for students to learn responsibilities and having an active role in keeping their classroom clean and orderly.
Students spend so much of their day in a classroom.
They sit, write, work, and they cough and sneeze! Help us keep our learning space clean so we can focus on the most important part of school-- learning! My students will be able to wipe off their desks with cleaning supplies every day to ensure a safe clean space to study and learn. The spray will also be used to clean the classroom and keep it fresh daily. The air freshener will be used daily to provide a clean and great smelling environment.
This project would make a huge impact on my classroom. We need help supporting our classroom and keeping our students happy and healthy. Thank you in advance for supporting my classroom project.
