it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Teaching a basic skill like letters to students with special needs seems simple- but can be a daunting task. My project is hands on materials for my MLL/ELL students that have an Individual Educational plan. Kindergarten is a time for students to learn the alphabet and the sound that goes along with the letter. These resources will engage their senses with tactile materials like textured letter cards, playdough letter molding, or sand tracing. Utilize visual aids like colorful flashcards, alphabet charts, and interactive games. Auditory learners benefit from catchy alphabet songs, rhymes, and stories.
