My Project
Recreational puzzles and math-based board games will bring math to life in our classroom. These hands-on materials help students practice important skills like logic, number sense, spatial thinking, and problem-solving—all while having fun. Some games will make learning feel more like play, helping students engage with math in a low-pressure and creative way.
My goal is to use these games during math centers, brain breaks, and enrichment time to create a more engaging and exciting learning environment.
I want students to look forward to math and feel confident in their abilities. These resources will help build a positive classroom culture where collaboration, curiosity, and critical thinking are encouraged every day.
My students are bright, eager learners who thrive when given the chance to explore. Many of them struggle with math anxiety or see math as something difficult or boring. But when we turn math into a game, something magical happens—they participate more, take risks, and begin to believe in their abilities. This project will help unlock that magic and make math a subject they can truly enjoy.
