They're helping to build important habits like organization, persistence, and attention to detail. Instead of working on loose papers that often get lost or thrown away, students now have a math journal they can refer back to and build upon.\r\n\r\nEven more importantly, these notebooks are fostering a stronger sense of ownership and pride in their work. I've seen students decorating their covers, organizing their pages, and using them to show off how much they've learned. It's incredible how something so simple can lead to such big shifts in confidence and focus.\r\n\r\nYour support is helping create a more structured, thoughtful, and engaging math experience—and my students and I are truly grateful.","fullyFundedDate":1735328982668,"projectUrl":"project/notebooks-write-to-learn/8861434/","projectTitle":"Notebooks: Write to Learn","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Dimaangay","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8841348_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1670212331888","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8841348"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_1986","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":606,"numTeachers":39,"percentFrplEligible":64,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":26,"percentWhite":32,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":33,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"6 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"15.5:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_SMALL"},"inStateSupporters":65.5,"schoolId":1986,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Clayton Middle School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Clayton Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/north-carolina/johnston-county-public-school-district/clayton-middle-school/1986"}
