My Students

I love to see my students proudly look at their art hanging in the hallway! I teach a wide variety of students and am happily surprised each and every day by the work they create in my classroom! Just the other day, one of my autistic students remarked at his painting in the hallway, and it made my day! I love teaching art to these wonderful students, and hope to inspire them with art and creativity, each and every day!

My Project

Students crave using new and exciting supplies in Art! They find the regular glue and cutting projects tedious. This project will provide them with new and exciting media in which they can create mixed-media works of art that are inspiring and FUN! They will especially enjoy using the pastels, gelly roll pens, letter stamps and the wide variety of unique papers. With these supplies, we will create seascapes, landscapes, journals, portraits and more! They will be able to 'play' with the materials and enjoy layering them to create new looks. I think that my students will love the materials included in this project.
