My Project

Using drones to introduce students to coding can be a great way to make programming fun and engaging. Students can learn to write code to control the drones' movements, such as flying in specific patterns, performing flips, or even capturing photos and videos.

Here's a brief outline of how it can be done:

Introduction to Coding: Start with basic programming concepts like variables, loops, and conditional statements.

Drone Programming Basics: Introduce students to the software and hardware required to program drones. Platforms like Tello EDU, or DJI Tello, can be great for beginners.

Hands-on Activities: Provide hands-on activities where students can write code to make the drones perform simple tasks, like taking off, landing, or flying in a square pattern.

Project-based Learning: Encourage students to work on projects where they can apply what they've learned to create more complex drone maneuvers, such as obstacle avoidance or autonomous flight.

Collaboration and Creativity: Foster collaboration among students and encourage them to be creative with their drone programming projects. They can work in teams to come up with innovative ideas and solutions.

By integrating coding drones into my curriculum, I can inspire students to explore the world of programming in a fun and innovative way.
