My Project
My students and I recently made "bouncing balls" and we spent 20 minutes trying to find the bowls, measuring spoons, and measuring cups in the various boxes around the room they are kept. Although I try to make sure the boxes are as organized as they can be once you start rummaging around in them items move and it is hard to find what you are looking for.
The kitchen island will allow my students and I to store the blender, crockpot, bowls, cups, measuring utensils, and all the other cooking items we have collected in one spot.
This kitchen island has a leaf to extend the table top. This will allow us to have a place to store the dishes while they dry instead of having to dry them in phases. The kitchen island also has wheels so we will be able to easily move it around the classroom.
