My Students

My students love researching things such as Natural Disasters, Countries and their Continents, Olympic Events and their athletes. After all of their research is finished they share what they have learned and discuss with the whole group.

My students are energetic and eager learners who are often curious and up for a challenge whether it's a STEM challenge, a brain teaser or a new book genre that they've never read before.

This year we hatched chicks in our room for the first time. They couldn't wait to get in the classroom every day and check the temperature and humidity of the incubator. While keeping a close eye on the daily growth of the chick inside and out of their eggs.

My Project

The Scholastic News Magazines will provide the students with the opportunities of becoming knowledgeable about the world they live in through class discussions and thorough research.

The Merge Cubes and Ozobots will give them exposure to new technologies, teaching them various subjects.

These can be paired with virtual reality goggles for different activities.

While the Pay It Forward books will be a great addition to our book club library, teaching the students comprehension, communication and a love of reading. We have daily discussions about the chapter(s) that we have read and often discuss how the book relates to our everyday lives.
