My Project

Students come to me when they are in need of a mental break, emotional reset, or when they've made a choice that results in disciplinary consequences. However, in my classroom this is a chance for students to figure out what they've done wrong, and learn how to do better!

Resiliency skills and character development can be tough topics, and heavy concepts for people - especially children - to feel open to, and willing to learn about.

By providing students with flexible seating, sensory fidgets, and resources that encourage positive behaviors/thoughts, this makes opening up to this information easier, and makes learning happen quicker!
