Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are 115 amazing, individual personalities. I have some who have a desire and a love for learning like no other. They participate daily in discussions, they turn their work in on time, and they do their best to succeed. I have others who try SO HARD to succeed and I'm so proud of who they are as students. Still I have others who despise school and it's difficult to get any work out of them. At the end of the day, however, these students are all individually loved.

My Project

Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, all of NC public schools have turned into remote learning schools. While I have some supplies, I want to make my student's learning experience the best it can be. I want to be able to remotely teach my lessons, so while I have a whiteboard, my markers are running out. While I have a camera on my iPhone, I need a tripod to film my lessons, and while there's a microphone on my computer--it's quality is poor. Please consider giving to this cause so my amazing 6th grade students can receive the best distance learning experience they can get!
