My Students

I am blessed to teach an amazing group of 19 students that come from very diverse backgrounds. Many of my students come from low-income families and I try to make my classroom a warm and inviting environment where they always feel safe and loved.

I am a self-proclaimed "teacher geek" and I love trying to bring interesting lessons into my classroom so my students are excited about learning!

Student engagement is one of my passions and what better way to fuel that passion than by attending the "Get Your Teach On" National Conference!

My Project

Get Your Teach On is a national conference with four days of researched-based workshops that help guide educators in creating rigorous, engaging lessons all year long. The incredible days are full of hands-on experiences that provide ready to use strategies for all subject areas. I was fortunate enough to attend the 2019 National Conference and I left with a renewed passion for education. The energy from presenters like Hope King, Wade King, Deanna Jump, and Amy Lemons is contagious.

I would love the opportunity to attend the conference again and continue to change the way I teach, renew my passion for a career I adore, and see my students even more engaged in learning!
