My Students

Our school is located on Cleveland's West Side. My Pre-K is a Head Start site, and all of the students must qualify to be in the program via the Head Start guidelines which means they are below the poverty level.

I have students from many different ethnic backgrounds.

The students of my class are 4 or turning 5 after October. They are happy, energetic and a ton of fun to be around. I get to see the world through their eyes and laugh each and every day with them.

My Project

Pre-K age children tend to share germs easily and now with COVID it is more important than ever to keep our room as clean and sanitized as possible. We go through soap and paper towels so quickly as we wash our hands at least 3 times a day. The napkins are used for snack and lunch- the ones that come with lunch are very small. My assistant and I wash toys every day to help avoid the children getting sick because in PK if you miss a day; you miss A Lot!!
