This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I'm hoping to receive some new games for next year. Shut the Box and Multiplication Jenga will be great new games for practicing number sense in math. Shut the Box is the perfect game for improving math and decision-making skills.

I plan to use the magnetic base ten blocks during math small groups to reinforce place value.

Place value concepts are easy to understand—with giant magnets that are perfect for whole-class demonstrations and hands-on practice!

Students will also enjoy a new PE game: Bucket Ball! Pairs take turn throwing a ball into buckets. If they make a bucket, the bucket is removed. It's super fun!
