Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach at a Title I school, which means many of my students are at or below the poverty level. But make no mistake - these students are amazing: kind, hard working, generous - they just need a little bit of help!
This project helps provide my classroom with the small things that add up - pens for students who need them, Sharpies and library cards and envelopes for our in class libraries, post-its so students can annotate, paper towels so we can clean up their messes, library display stands to highlight new books and more.
All of these things are small items which make an impact in big ways!
