This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My second graders are curious, courageous, and full of potential. I serve brilliant Black and Brown Title 1 students who deserve stories that reflect who they are and inspire who they can become.
These books will be mirrors of their lives and windows into what's possible.
They will help students build empathy, grow as readers, and spark joyful conversations. Every title will support their literacy, confidence, and social-emotional learning.
My goal is to promote student literacy, fulfillment, and the pure joy of reading—because every child deserves to feel seen and inspired.
