My students were so excited when they first saw the colorful new headphones, and they couldn't wait to try them out during lessons. They love having their own pair, and it has made such a difference in keeping them focused and engaged. The bouncy bands on their chairs have also been a huge success. Instead of fidgeting or feeling restless during instruction, students now have a calm and safe way to release nervous energy so they can stay tuned in and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nThese resources have already transformed our classroom environment. Students are able to make choices that support their own learning needs, whether it's using headphones to concentrate or quietly moving their legs on the bouncy bands. This has created a calmer, more comfortable space where everyone can focus, grow, and thrive. Your generosity has given my students the tools they need to succeed both academically and socially, and I am deeply grateful for your support.","fullyFundedDate":1754097230377,"projectUrl":"project/comfort-focus-and-choice-tools-to-hel/9498857/","projectTitle":"Comfort, Focus, and Choice: Tools to Help 2nd Graders Thrive","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. June","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8715210_orig.png?crop=1258,1258,x203,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1753047218746","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8715210"},{"teacherId":8715210,"projectId":9482875,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting Mirror & Window Books: Helping Readers Read, Relate, and Rise! My students were thrilled to see the collection of new books in our classroom library, and their excitement has carried into our lessons. After we finish our reading time, students get to choose a book that speaks to them, complete a book report, and then share what they learned with their classmates. One student proudly explained how a character reminded her of herself, while another shared that he discovered a new perspective by reading about a life different from his own. These moments of connection, both seeing themselves reflected in stories and learning to relate to others, have made reading a truly meaningful experience.\r\n\r\nThese books have helped my students grow as both readers and thinkers. Our classroom discussions are deeper, their writing is more thoughtful, and I can see their confidence rise as they share their reflections aloud. Your generosity has given my students more than just books, it has given them opportunities to feel seen, to build empathy, and to rise as stronger learners and leaders. My students were overjoyed when they first saw the materials, they were cheering and excited to explore everything right away! We've already begun incorporating these resources into our daily Social Emotional Learning (SEL) lessons each morning. One of our favorite classroom moments was when a student, who had been feeling discouraged, used the ABC affirmation cards to describe themselves in a positive and powerful way. These tools have given my students the language and confidence to express their emotions while also creating a safe, supportive learning space for everyone.\r\n\r\nAs we continue our lessons, I am using these resources daily to help students navigate challenges and celebrate successes. When students experience big feelings during the day, they know that the SEL materials are readily available to support them. The affirmations, calming tools, and structured SEL activities not only foster emotional growth but also encourage students to see themselves as leaders. Your gift has truly impacted both their learning and their overall well-being, and we are so grateful for your investment in their future.","fullyFundedDate":1753892913047,"projectUrl":"project/healing-heart-and-hope-sel-tools-for/9498928/","projectTitle":"Healing, Heart, and Hope: SEL Tools for Young Leaders","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. June","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8715210_orig.png?crop=1258,1258,x203,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1753047218746","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8715210"},{"teacherId":8846807,"projectId":7509919,"letterContent":"Thank you for your amazing donations!\r\nAs the year comes to an end I can confidently say that every single resource was used!
