This mini fridge will help my students do their best learning by staying hydrated. It will be housed in the classroom for students to use to keep their drinks cold. It will also be a place where students can save their extra food from breakfast and lunch. This will help prevent food waste and keep my students fed. Basic needs come before all other needs! If students are thirsty or hungry they can't do their best learning. Ours has quit and we need to replace it.
This mini fridge will help my students do their best learning by giving them a place to keep their water and snacks stored.
An added bonus of having a fridge in the classroom will be the convenience it will provide for special science experiments or cooking experiences that often occur in our classroom! Examples of these lessons are making friendship bread, friendship salad, ice cream as well as learning the science behind them.
