Help me give my students MINI reasons to learn math with mini erasers. Within my classroom, math is done towards the end of the day. After lunch, students tend to lose interest in academic topics on average. To promote active participation and learning, every year I implement a behavior incentive through the use of mini erasers.
Students are able to earn mini erasers whenever they participate in daily math conversations.
Due to the frequency of these lessons, my classroom goes through mini erasers relatively fast. We need continuous contributions through the year to ensure that our classroom has an adequate amount of erasers to keep students interested and actively participating. I hope to continue to offer this incentive to the students in order to continue creating active participation in class.
