Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The goal of this project is to bring the experience of mixed media landscape art to 3rd and 4th graders. The students are using construction paper as their canvases at the moment and now I want them to experience what it’s like to create on actual canvas.
The use of the mini 4x4 canvas boards is to teach them that you don’t have to create big art to create landscape masterpieces.
Mini masterpieces can have just as much if not more details as a larger art piece. Backing this project would help bring the concept of mixed media art to the students.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
