Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students love learning how to play different instruments in music class and we are blessed to have a wide variety of them -including drums, ukuleles, boomwhackers, recorders, etc. One instrument that we currently don't have enough of however is piano keyboards. Lots of students want to play piano, however, having them all share the big teacher one isn't realistic.

Having several mini piano keyboards would let an entire class of students learn how to play the piano all at once!

These Casio Keyboards are small, portable, and would be a perfect addition to our classroom. I know my students would really enjoy learning piano basic piano skills and it might even inspire some of them to start taking private lessons outside of school.
