My Students

Money. At the root of what is facing the majority of my juniors and seniors is an incomprehensible debt in terms of post-secondary education costs. What is the single test to help them garner more cash? The ACT. College entrances and scholarships are based on their results on this test

My students are the coolest people on planet.

One of their impressive characteristics is they are academically motivated. They want to learn! They want to do all they can to provide themselves with a promising future because they care. Because of this, they deserve the best from my classroom.

My Project

With an iPad, I can tailor lessons for each student who is struggling with a concept in grammar, mechanics, and usage. At the end of a lesson or during a study session at night, I can send a teenager to a lesson to review dangling modifiers or possessives. This resource can give me an extra pair of hands, so to speak, in preparing my students for the ACT.

Anything I can do to enhance the learning for my students matters.

I believe in them, but moreover, they believe in my ability to prepare them. I must do all I can to shoulder this responsibility. Adding an iPad to my classroom will give me and my students an added boost!
