My students need iPads to help reinforce what is being taught in all subject areas. Students can work on math fact fluency, reading, or even create their own digital books.
My classroom is full of diverse learners who are excited to be gaining knowledge and working together to build a community. They come from different economic backgrounds, countries and some even speak different languages. Not all of my students have access to internet or technology at home. I have students who are working above grade level and some working below grade level. No matter what challenges they face, they do their best each day. We work hard each day to better ourselves and have fun while doing it.
My Project
There are so many uses for the iPads within the classroom. We can use them to improve fact fluency in math and play math games during workstation time. Students can make digital books to publish their writing or create books to show what they have learned about a particular topic. The ipads are also great for independent reading time because students can use them to read books at their independent reading level.
These iPads will help to bring technology into our classroom and make learning engaging and enjoyable for my students.
