Help me give my students access to engage their creativity and learn, develop and generalize their speech and language skills through crafts and the ability to choose their outlet with markers, paints, stencils and brushes.
I am requesting arts and craft supplies for my special needs preschoolers. We often do crafts to reinforce themes from storybooks read in our speech therapy sessions or units of study from the preschool classrooms.
Learning, developing, and generalizing speech and language skills through arts and crafts provide an opportunity for my students to engage their creativity.
Having access to different art supplies such as paint markers, fabric paint, brushes, markers, and stencils provides the opportunity for all students to engage in art projects and provide differentiated instruction for students with different needs and abilities.
I love to decorate the speech room and our school hallways with student-created work. This encourages our students and reinforces how important and meaningful their efforts and work are to our school community.
