My students need hands on and creative materials so they can use their minds to build and create! We will use apps on the ipad mini to work wonder dash the robot.
Kindergartners are energetic, curious, kind and eager learners. They love hands on materials and technology! This class is a diverse group of children who love learning! The student population consists of 41% English language learners and 57% of students from low-income families. Our school has about 500 students from kindergarten through second grade.
My students crave opportunities to use their minds and hands!
They love to be creative and think outside the box! They are consistently asking questions and wanting to find out how things work! They love ALL subjects-especially Math, Science, and Literacy! These hands on materials will support their curiosity and love of learning!
My Project
My students will utilize these material during the day to encourage their creativity and challenge their minds. My students love hands on materials that make them think and be problem solvers! They will use problem solving skills and social skills while working together with the materials. They will be able to create what they are thinking and verbalize it with their peers. My students love technology and want to use code to make things work so having an iPad and wonder dash robot will allow their knowledge of technology.
