My Project
This will help my special education students have a place to go to relax. Many deal with autism and different levels of the autism spectrum, and these light covers, chairs, and fidgets will give them a place to go to turn their minds off and relax. Especially since the days of Covid, mental health has been suffering in students more and more. As an educator, I would like to give this underserved population a place to feel safe and relaxed. Mental health and mindfulness are at the forefront of education, as students cannot learn if they are not in a good place mentally.
