This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students are staring at screens all day. This can become exhausting for their eyes and brains during Arizona State Testing. Help us give our students a great brain break by still providing a way to focus and relax the brain. We are going old-school retro and would like to purchase nice age-appropriate coloring books for teens and a laminator to preserve their works of art.
Coloring provides engaging, mindfulness, and quiet activity for students to do while waiting for fellow classmates to finish their tests.
Coloring is a great way to relieve your stress and calm down and express your creativity through art. Several of my special education students and English language learners love to express themselves through art and coloring. After taking long state tests coloring is a great way to relax and let your mind be at peace.
