Mindfulness and Movement in the Classroom

Help me give my students items to ease anxiety and regulate their emotions.

My Project

The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students will increase our ability to regulate our emotions in the classroom. We just need your help in getting them through our door! The fidgets will be housed in our calming corner, and used when students feel emotionally elevated throughout the day. The bike pedals will be signed out to students to use at their desks throughout the day. The notebooks will be available for students to sketch in, as a way to help them focus throughout lessons.

Since the Covid-19 pandemic, our school has placed emphasis on the Zones of Regulation and helping our students understand their emotions.

Through the use of these tools, our students will be able to regulate their feelings, while still learning.
