This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students at our school are from underprivileged homes with limited resources. Students will have the yoga experience at a large multi-school event for elementary, middle and high school.

Providing yoga mats, a speaker to project music and fun and thoughtful books to teach yoga will bring mindfulness and calm into their hectic, testing lives.

The yoga books and mats will be used at my local campus at least on a monthly basis to teach yoga poses in conjunction with books and provide a release from the stress of testing and school work.
