My Project

Mental health has always been important for students however, since the Covid pandemic it has become even more critical to help students learn coping skills, establish mental health practices, practice mindfulness, and establish emotional regulation skills. These supplies provide a couch and meditation cushions for students to deescalate and regulate. There are sketch pads and sketching pencils to use as an outlet for their emotions and emotional regulation. There is craft supplies and coloring skills to practice mindfulness and creativity. There are headphones to soothe to music. There are snacks to help fill their bellies so they can focus on their mental health and not their hunger. There are cellphone charging stations and lockers so students can unplug and feel secure with locking up their phones and belongings so they can focus on their learning, mental health, and interactions with peers. Please help me be able to provide them with the supplies to help them work on their mindfulness, boost their confidence, regulate their emotions, and have the supplies in their classroom to destress, deescalate, and get the mental health support they deserve.
